The college has undertaken this project on the open roof top, in consultation with the Govt of NCT of Delhi. The project has been undertaken by Hero Solar Energy Pvt. Ltd, New Delhi, under the project name “61.75KWp Grid Connected Solar Power Plant at Kalindi College”, which has been installed under IPGCL Scheme. The design, supply, installation, commissioning, operation and maintenance is being done by Hero Solar Energy Pvt Ltd. The project is successfully generating 61 KWp in the college. The MoU has been signed for 25 Years. This has reduced the power consumption in the college to a great extent.
