Key Responsibilities
Technical Incharge – Cyber Centre
- Oversees the daily functioning of the Cyber Centre for students and staff.
- Ensures all computer systems, peripherals, and technical resources are operational.
- Provides technical support and supervises maintenance of computer labs.
College Domain Email ID Generation and Management
- Responsible for the creation and administration of official college domain email IDs for staff and departments.
- Handles account configuration, troubleshooting, and regular updates.
- Maintains security and access protocols for all institutional accounts.
College Wi‑Fi / Network Maintenance
- Manage the campus network infrastructure: wired LAN, wireless Wi‑Fi, switches, routers, access‑points, firewalls.
- Ensures consistent internet connectivity with minimal downtime.
- Handles installation, troubleshooting, and optimization of routers, switches, and access points.
- Coordinate with the central university network (e.g., the optical fibre link to the university network) and ensure proper liaison for connectivity.
Website Uploads and General Maintenance
- Coordinates the uploading of notices, updates, and academic content on the college website.
- Works with the web development/IT team to ensure smooth functionality and user accessibility.
- Implements content updates as required by college departments.
Supervision of Cyber Centre Staff
- Leads and manages the team of staff members within the Cyber Centre.
- Assigns responsibilities, ensures discipline, and oversees day-to-day operations.
- Conducts coordination with academic and administrative departments for IT support.
